Kasama's campaign is a Straight-up Fugazi

Fake. Bogus. Not genuine.
Remember the movie Donnie Brasco, when Lefty (Al Pacino) hands Donnie the diamond and asks, “How do you know it’s a fugazi?” And Donnie fires back, “’Cause it’s a fake!”
That’s exactly what we’re dealing with here. Kasama’s entire attack on Albert Mack is a political diamond that looks shiny at first glance — but the moment you scratch it, you can see it’s cheap glass. A Fugazi. Designed to fool voters who don’t have time to dig into the truth.
Meet Assemblywoman Heidi Kasama — now running for County Commission — and let me be blunt: she’s a fake.
Last week, I got a shiny 8x10 postcard from her campaign. In it, she calls her primary opponent Albert Mack a RINO and takes cheap shots at “that Hillary guy.” I’ll admit, the mailer looked slick. But once you peel back the onion, the whole thing stinks of lies and political games.
Let’s go through the facts.
Kasama claims Albert Mack “never voted” for Governor Joe Lombardo. Really?
Albert donated over $20,000 to help elect Joe Lombardo. Why would anyone donate twenty grand and then not vote for the guy?
I asked Albert myself — he laughed and said, “Of course I'm voting for Joe.”
Kasama lied. Plain and simple.
Next, she accuses Mack of “praising Harry Reid.” Here’s the truth:
Ten years ago, Albert attended a fundraiser for UNLV’s Legal Clinic. His family has donated millions to UNLV. At that event, he tweeted a thank-you to Harry Reid for helping raise money for the clinic.
So let me get this straight…
Supporting UNLV is now a crime, according to Heidi Kasama?
If that’s her logic, she should be attacking half the business community.
And then comes her weakest claim: Kasama says Mack “mocked President Trump” because he supposedly retweeted an anti-Trump post.
Problem: It never happened.
This was another made-up hit job crafted by her consultants at Red Rock Strategies, run by Ryan Erwin and Dana Walch — the same folks who designed the whole dishonest mail piece.
And that’s the real point here.
Kasama isn’t leading anything. She’s a pawn. A product. A candidate built and programmed by political handlers who think Republican voters are too dumb to check the facts.
Kasama’s handler, Ryan Erwin, is the same guy who convinced Governor Lombardo to call that disastrous special session and tried to ram through the failed Hollywood Studio deal — a scheme that would have strapped Nevada taxpayers with $1.5 billion in debt over ten years.
Erwin runs a tight little cabal of consultants and lobbyists who, in my opinion, do not represent the interests of taxpayers. Over the next few weeks, I’m going to explain exactly how they operate and why their influence is poison to good government.
But let’s get back to Kasama.
She accuses Albert Mack of being a RINO.
Well, talk about the pot calling the kettle black.
Kasama likes to parade around as a “Conservative,” but that’s just another role she’s playing. According to the two leading voices for conservatism in Nevada — NPRI (Nevada Policy Research Institute) and Citizen Outreach — her voting record isn't great. As one insider put it. "Kasama governs like a Democrat."
Ronald Reagan said, “If someone agrees with you 80% of the time, they are an ally.”
according to NPRI, she's with us about 75% percent of the time and that doesn’t make her an ally — that makes her an enemy of conservative values.
And she proved it again during the special session. She was one of the handful of Republicans who voted YES to saddle taxpayers with that 10-year, $1.5 billion Hollywood Hustle.
And here’s the real kicker: every single one of those Republicans is handled by Ryan Erwin’s cabal.
This isn’t leadership.
This is manufactured politics — bought, packaged, and delivered by consultants who think voters won’t notice.
